Dear Marla,

I am alone most of the time during the day. James and Lorraine are sequestered at their desks where they write their books. I see them at breakfast and lunch 

I spend  a lot of time outside, even though the weather  is almost always at least misty and often it may be raining.

I love to 'frolick' in  the rain.  I like to sit with my back against one of huge Douglas Fir trees in the rain and try to meditate on all that is going on around me. I wear my wide brim hat
